Rarely seen  Greener best L60 “Royal” sidelock. 28-1/2″ Whitworth chopper lump barrels, raised machine finshed game rib choked (.026/.040) improved modified and extra full,  2-1/2″ chambers.  Auto ejectors, double triggers, non automatic safe. The sidelock action features rose and scroll of the highest quality. Likely to be the work of Jack Sumner, the famous engraver of Boss guns.  Deep cut arcaded fences and a gold crown inlaid on the top lever indicate a “Royal” model along with gold numeral 1.   Manufactured circa 1907 this is a high grade gun built to compete with the best London makers.  Straight hand English stock of wonderful true French walnut with outstanding color and swirling black figure measures 1-1/2″ comb, 2-1/4″ heel, 14-5/8″ over a pad.  Slight cast off for right hand.  Weighs 6 lbs 10oz, quite a rare Greener.
