Gallyon & Sons Lightweight Deluxe 12 ga. box lock ejector.  28″ barrels feature swamped game rib choked strong improved cylinder and full  (.012/.040), 2-1/2″ chambers.  Auto ejectors, double triggers, auto safe.  The action just radiates wonderful strong case color and is fully engraved in acanthus scroll with Gallyon & Sons in a banner.  The trigger guard and top lever retain all of the lustrous charcoal blue.  Straight hand stock of nicely figured walnut with alternating stripes of color and contrasting grain.  Measurements are 1-3/8″ comb, 2-1/4″ heel, 14-1/2″ LOP over a checkered butt plate.  About 5/16″ cast off.  A true lightweight weighing just under 6 lbs, 2 oz.  Wonderful quality, traditional pre-war circa 1936 game gun by Gallyons which was founded in 1784.  Maker’s canvas case.
