This small frame 28 is is a Francotte look alike.  At first glance, one would call it a knockabout, even the pattern on the rib is identical.  The scaled box lock action has border and detail engraving, maintaining  a good blush of case colors.  Anson release splinter for end, double triggers, auto safe.  Straight hand stock measures 1-3/8″ comb, 2-1/2″ heel, 13-1/2 LOPl over a butt plate.

This little gun shows field use however is tight on the face and locks up like a bank vault.  At just 5 lbs, a true scaled small frame 28.
